File

Vanderburgh County has topped 95,000 full vaccinations against COVID-19.

The Indiana Department of Health added more than 230 local vaccinated residents on its Tuesday dashboard.

The agency also tallied nearly 1,300 more booster shots in Vanderburgh County.

Across Indiana, nearly 8,700 people were added to the list of fully vaccinated.

The statewide total topped 3.4 million.

Nearly 51,000 more Hoosiers reportedly got booster shots. That statewide total is approaching 600,000.

Health officials are urging everyone to get vaccinated and eligible residents to receive boosters, as colder weather moves in and major holidays approach.
