3 New COVID Deaths, 200+ More Infections in Western KY

Three more COVID-19 related deaths and more than 200 new infections are reported in western Kentucky. 

The Green River District Health Department recorded new fatalities in Henderson, McLean, and Ohio counties.

Henderson’s pandemic death toll reached 109, while the seven-county district approached 600 fatalities.

213 new infections were also tallied in the district from Tuesday through Thursday.

The district’s seven-day average for new cases stood at about 56.

Nearly 51 percent of Henderson County residents are fully vaccinated.

Hancock County leads the district with nearly 60 percent of its residents vaccinated.

Ohio County is the least vaccinated of the seven counties at about 40 percent.
