A water main break has put part of Evansville’s North Side under a boil advisory.
The precautionary advisory follows repairs to a main break in 4200 block of First Avenue on Wednesday.
It includes much of the area north of Buena Vista, east of Kratzville Road, west of Stringtown Road, and south of Old Post Road.
A map of the advisory area can be seen at the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility’s website.
Customers in the affected area are urged to boil tap water for five minutes before using it for cooking or drinking until the advisory is lifted.
