Businesses have begun looking for seasonal employees and now non-profit organizations are looking for seasonal volunteers. WNIN’s Sarah Kuper has more on one the group reaching out for help.
Holiday decorations and gifts have already begun to appear in tri-state stores and it won’t be long until the Salvation Army Red Kettles appear as well.
But first, the non-profit organization needs volunteer bell-ringers.
The Register to Ring website is active and taking information on those wanting to sign up as an individual, a group or a virtual ringer.
Donations to the red kettles go toward the Christmas assistance program for families in Evansville and Vanderburgh County.
