Two more COVID 19-related deaths are reported in southwest Indiana.
The Indiana Department of Health announced Vanderburgh County’s 449th death of the pandemic and Spencer County’s 36th.
Vanderburgh also saw 106 new infections, 135 new full vaccinations, and a seven-day positivity rate among individuals at about 22 percent on the Thursday dashboard.
The number of hospitalized COVID patients in the 12-county region of southwest Indiana continued to fall, to 213.
One caveat: On its website, the state agency noted a delay in data and said it was showing “limited numbers” this week.
Across Indiana, the report showed 28 more COVID-related deaths and more than 3,600 new cases.
