A hospital official and area medical workers will be honored next month.
The group Women Stepping Up has announced the winners of the Albion Fellows Bacon awards.
Linda White, Chief Administrative Officer of Deaconess Henderson Hospital, was named an Inspirational Leader. And essential workers who served during the pandemic were named for the Unsung Hero Award.
The awards will be presented at the Women's Equality Centennial Plus One luncheon on Thursday, August 26, at Old National Events Plaza.
The scheduled guest speaker is astronaut Dr. Mae C. Jemison.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the event last year.
