Area artists have an opportunity to display their work alongside paintings by Bob Ross.
The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana has the unique opportunity to display two original Ross paintings in the Bower-Suhrheinrich Foundation Gallery from July 17th – 29th.
And in a release, the arts council says local artists are invited to create portraits of the late art instructor.
The council says all media will be accepted, but the “parameter of content” is a portrait of Ross.
There’s no fee to enter the exhibit, but work is limited to one piece per artist.
The event is in conjunction with WNIN’s Ross Fest on July 17th.
