Four new COVID-19 related deaths are reported in southwest Indiana and western Kentucky.
The Indiana Department of Health recorded Gibson County’s 95th death of the pandemic.
The agency recorded no new deaths or infections in Vanderburgh County. The number of fully vaccinated county residents rose by 120 to more than 78,700.
The number of hospitalized COVID patients was down to just 14 across the 12-county region of southwest Indiana.
Statewide, eight new COVID-related deaths and nearly 200 new infections were tallied on the Tuesday dashboard.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department announced three new fatalities: two in McLean County and one in Webster County.
The department also recorded 21 new infections between June 18th and the 21st.
Just two COVID patients were hospitalized in the seven-county region.
