A local community college has a new way to showcase its programs to perspective students.
Learning more about higher education usually means looking through brochures and going on a formal tour. But Ivy Tech Community College is opening its doors on Wednesdays this summer and telling interested students “walk-ins are welcome”.
College administrators say they want the experience to be a more casual and personalized way to learn about the school.
To participate, staff says to meet at the admissions office on First Avenue between noon and 2 p.m. on Wednesdays this summer. To learn more, visit here.
