Four new COVID 19-related deaths are reported in southwest Indiana and western Kentucky.
The Indiana Department of Health added one fatality in Gibson County, raising that county’s pandemic death toll to 93.
New infections remained low in the area, and the agency recorded nearly 300 new full vaccinations in Vanderburgh County, pushing the local total beyond 76,000.
Across southwest Indiana, the number of hospitalized COVID patients fell to 20 in the 12-county district.
Statewide, ten new COVID-related deaths were added with about 300 new infections.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department announced three new fatalities: one in Daviess County, another in Webster County, and one in Ohio County.
The deaths were recorded between June 4th and the 7th. The district is now releasing its reports just twice a week.
