Two more COVID 19-related deaths are reported in western Kentucky.
The Green River District Health Department announced the fatalities in Henderson and Daviess counties.
Henderson’s pandemic death toll rose to 81 while the toll in Daviess County reached 185.
In a release, District Public Health Director Clay Horton said the situation has improved, but COVID is still spreading in the seven-county district.
Horton said "getting a COVID-19 vaccine has never been easier” and he urged un-vaccinated residents to roll up their sleeves.
The district reported 26 new infections on it Friday report.
The Indiana Department of Health added no new COVID-related deaths in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike, Dubois, or Spencer counties.
Just 17 new infections were recorded in the seven counties.
The state agency added 240 more full vaccinations in Vanderburgh County, raising the local total above 74,000.
Statewide, Indiana saw 13 new fatalities and about 570 more cases.
