A federal COVID-19 vaccine clinic has opened in Henderson County.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear visited the new vaccination clinic at the Henderson County Cooperative Extension facility on Zion Road yesterday (Wed).
Beshear is pushing a statewide vaccination goal of 2.5 million Kentucky adults.
Multiple news media reported the governor couldn’t resist a Kentucky Derby reference saying “you don’t stop when you make that last turn and you head toward the finish line.”
He said “What do our horses do? They run harder. And that’s exactly what we’ve got to do.”
