Live bluegrass music returns to Yellow Creek Park near Owensboro in 2021.
With fans ready to enjoy a return to the Summer of Music, ROMP organizers say they have a great lineup for the festival which will take place this year Sept. 15-18.
Among the headliners- Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers, Kentucky native Sam Bush and appearing at ROMP for the first time, Robert Earl Keen. Perennial nationally touring acts like Balsam Range and Town Mountain round out the ROMP 2021 lineup.
Hall of Fame executive director Chris Joslin says they’re expecting some pent-up demand for live bluegrass music.
“Folks are just way overdue for some fun, and hopefully, this will be a good rallying point for them.”
WNIN is once again the radio partner for ROMP. We’re planning full Summer of Music coverage of the outdoor festivals again, with Song Show host Brick Briscoe leading our coverage.
