800 More Vanderburgh Residents Fully Vaccinated Against COVID

The number of fully vaccinated residents in Vanderburgh County has topped 56,000. 

The Indiana Department of Health reported more than 800 new COVID-19 vaccinations in the county.

The number of fully vaccinated residents in Vanderburgh rose to 56,423.

The state recorded no new COVID-19 related deaths in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike, Dubois, or Spencer counties.

Eleven new infections were tallied in Vanderburgh County.

The county’s seven-day positivity rate improved slightly to 4.4 percent.

The number of hospitalized COVID patients climbed by seven to 42 in the 12-county district of southwest Indiana.

Across the state, four COVID-related deaths were announced with more than 1,200 new infections and 848 hospitalizations.

The state’s seven-day positivity rate slipped to five percent.

In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department added 42 infections but no new COVID-related deaths.

Eleven COVID patients were hospitalized in the seven-county district.
