Vanderburgh COVID Vaccinations Top 55,000; No New Deaths

Nearly a third of Vanderburgh County residents have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 

The Indiana Department of Health recorded 378 more full vaccinations in the county on its Tuesday dashboard.

It raised Vanderburgh County’s number of vaccinated residents above 55,000.

Meantime, no new COVID-related deaths were reported in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike, Dubois, or Spencer counties.

Vanderburgh saw ten new infections, with surrounding counties in single-digits.

Vanderburgh’s seven-day positivity rate held at 4.6 percent.

Across southwest Indiana, the number of hospitalized COVID patients fell by five to 31 in the 12-county district.

Statewide, the agency recorded eight new fatalities and more than 700 new infections.
