A coffee shop inside a historic building in Newburgh is closing its doors.
The owners of the Refinery on Jennings St. say Monday, May 31st will be the business’ last day.
On Facebook, Erin & Bill Morrison said the past 43 months have been “challenging” and there were many factors that went into what they called a “tough decision.”
But they say a new business is planned for the former church and Old Country Store.
It will become a “Soul Care Space”, providing small spaces, experiences, and retail focused on mental and emotional health.
The Morrisons say it will offer a haven to “get away, renew hope, and fill up the tank of your soul.”
They say more announcements will be made over the coming weeks and months regarding the closure and the new endeavor coming to the historic space.
