The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana is accepting grant applications for local school projects.
The Council says the Sponsorship of the Arts grants are for the development or advancement of arts opportunities and experiences for K-thru-12 students in Vanderburgh County.
In a release, Arts Council Director Anne McKim said the agency awarded nearly $30,000 to projects in 2019.
McKim says only schools and nonprofits are eligible for the $5,000 grants.
Private organizations can partner with a school or nonprofit for their project.
Applications are due by May 21st.
More information on the grant application process is available by contacting the Arts Council.
