Three More COVID Deaths in Western Kentucky; None in Southwest Indiana

Three new COVID 19-related deaths are reported in western Kentucky. 

The Green River District Health Department added two more fatalities in Henderson County, and one more in Webster County.

Henderson’s pandemic death toll reached 74 while Webster saw its 20th fatality.

Six COVID patients were hospitalized in the seven-county district

The Indiana Department of Health added no new fatalities in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike, Dubois, or Spencer counties.

The agency did record 27 new infections in Vanderburgh County on the Tuesday dashboard, while the county’s seven-day positivity rate dropped a bit to 4.6 percent.

The number of hospitalized COVID patients hospitalized in the 12-county district of southwest Indiana fell by 13 to 40.

Across the state, officials announced 16 new COVID-related deaths and 970 more infections.

The state’s positivity rate ticked up to just short of five percent.
