New COVID-19 related deaths are reported in Vanderburgh and Dubois counties.
The Indiana Department of Health announced Vanderburgh’s 388th COVID fatality and Dubois’ 114th death of the pandemic.
The agency also recorded 31 new infections in Vanderburgh County, the steepest jump in recent weeks.
Vanderburgh’s seven-day positivity rate held at 3.3 percent with 24 COVID patients hospitalized in the 12-county district of southwest Indiana.
Statewide, 15 new fatalities were added with about 975 new infections on the Wednesday dashboard.
Indiana’s positivity rate matched Vanderburgh’s at 3.3 percent.
The Green River District Health Department announced one new COVID-related death in Ohio County and 27 new infections across the seven-county district.
Just four COVID patients were in the hospital.
