One new COVID-19 related death is reported in Vanderburgh County, while two fatalities are added in western Kentucky.
The Indiana Department of Health announced Vanderburgh’s 387 death of the pandemic.
The number of new COVID infections remained low with ten in Vanderburgh County, single digits in Warrick and Gibson counties, and none in Posey County.
Vanderburgh’s seven-day positivity rate held at 3.3 percent, with the number of hospitalized COVID patients holding at 22 across the 12-county district of southwest Indiana.
Statewide, 18 COVID deaths were added with just over 700 new infections.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department recorded another death in Daviess (Davis) County and one in Ohio County.
27 new infections were tallied in the seven-county district.
