One new COVID 19 death is reported in Warrick County and another in Daviess County, Kentucky.
The Indiana Department of Health announced Warrick County’s 155th COVID-related death of the pandemic.
No new fatalities were reported in Vanderburgh, Posey, or Gibson counties, but one new death was added in Pike County.
The agency tallied 24 new infections in Vanderburgh County, with single-digit increases in surrounding counties.
The number of hospitalized COVID patients in the 12-county district of southwest Indiana fell by 16 to 33.
Statewide, Indiana saw 15 more fatalities and fewer than 900 new infections on the Friday dashboard.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department announced the 173rd death in Daviess County.
The department also said a statewide audit of death certificates added 26 more deaths to the district’s pandemic death toll.
49 new infections were recorded in the seven-county district.
