Two more COVID 19-related deaths have been recorded in the Evansville area.
The Indiana Department of Health added one fatality in Vanderburgh County and one in Warrick County on the Friday dashboard.
Vanderburgh’s pandemic death toll rose to 385, while Warrick’s climbed to 154.
The number of new infections rose by 32 in Vanderburgh, while 15 new cases were added in Gibson County.
Other counties in southwest Indiana reported single-digit increase and no new fatalities.
Statewide, 28 more COVID-related deaths were recorded pushing Indiana’s pandemic death toll beyond 12,400.
Another 415 deaths are considered “probable” COVID fatalities.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department added no new COVID-related deaths.
24 new infections were reported in the seven-county district.
