Windy Thursday morning, then a marginal risk of severe weather.

According to the National Weather Service at Paducah, several rounds of heavy rain will begin Thursday afternoon and continue into Saturday. Two to three inches of rain are possible along the Ohio River with lower amounts in the northern and southern portions of the WNIN listening area.

Things should start to dry out during the day Saturday before showers return on Sunday and Monday.

There is a marginal risk of severe weather Thursday afternoon as the system moves into our area. Forecasters put the timing of potential severe weather between two and six pm central time. Cloudy and cooler conditions are likely next week with highs in the low 50’s.
