No Deaths, Few Infections in Latest COVID Data

The state has released more encouraging COVID-19 numbers for the Evansville area. 

The Indiana Department of Health announced no new COVID-related deaths in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike, Dubois, or Spencer counties.

None of the counties saw more than a single-digit increase in infections.

The number of hospitalized COVID patients in the 12-county district of southwest Indiana fell to 42.

Statewide, five new COVID-related fatalities were recorded with fewer than 500 new infections on the Monday dashboard.

In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department added 34 COVID infections but no new fatalities in the seven-county district.
