New COVID Death in Warrick; Few New Infections in Area
Another COVID 19-related death is reported in Warrick County, but just a few new infections were added in the area.
The Indiana Department of Health announced Warrick’s 151st fatality of the pandemic, along with four new cases.
Just three new infections were counted in Vanderburgh, and none in Gibson and Posey counties.
Vanderburgh’s seven-day positivity rate held at 4.7 percent.
The number of hospitalized COVID patients in the 12-county district of southwest Indiana dropped below 60.

The state’s seven-day positivity rate stood at 3.8 percent.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department recorded no new COVID-related deaths but 40 new infections.
Just ten COVID patients were hospitalized in the seven-county district.
