Hit a Pothole? Let the City Know About It

File

As the snow melts on Evansville streets, potholes are bound to develop. Here's how to report them…

The city of Evansville says the Street Maintenance Department is resuming its patching and repairing of potholes.

In a release, mayor’s spokesman Noah Stubbs said residents can report the holes by calling 812-435-6000 or by using the hash tag #evvpotholes on social media posts.

The city asks that you include the street address or nearest intersection.

The Street Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining the safety and condition of all public roads within the Evansville city limits.

Stubbs says the SMD has a crew dedicated to patching and repairing potholes year round.
