Another Round of Winter Weather This Week

The National Weather Service has updated snowfall totals from Monday’s storm and our chances for another winter storm this week.

Snowfall totals from the President’s Day storm were around five inches in the Evansville area, nearly seven inches in some parts of Henderson County and lesser amounts to the south and east.

In a Google Meet call Tuesday morning, National Weather Service Paducah forecaster Rick Shanklin said another storm is coming Wednesday to our area.

“Bigger surge overall we think is going to be tomorrow afternoon  and into the day Thursday, maybe Thursday evening a little bit in the far southeast.”

This next round should bring only about an inch or two of additional snow. However, the forecast models indicate a thirty to forty percent chance of four inches of snow of more. We’ll keep you updated as we get new information.
