COVID Deaths and Infections Down

No new COVID 19 deaths are reported in Vanderburgh County and the number of new infections continues to trend lower. 

The Indiana Department of Health recorded just 22 new infections in the county and less than 1,000 statewide.

One new fatality was announced in Dubois County, but none in Warrick, Posey or Gibson counties.

The number of hospitalized COVID patients in the 12-county district of southwest Indiana fell by four to 100, with 41 percent of intensive care beds available.

Nineteen COVID-related deaths were reported across Indiana on the Monday dashboard.

The Green River District Health Department tallied 88 new COVID-19 infections but no new COVID-related deaths.

30 COVID patients were hospitalized in the seven-county district.
