3 More COVID Deaths in Southwest IN; 2 More in Western KY

Three more COVID 19-related deaths are reported in southwest Indiana, along with two more in western Kentucky. 

The Indiana Department of Health announced one new fatality in Vanderburgh County, one in Warrick County, and one in Spencer County.

67 new COVID infections were reported in Vanderburgh, where the seven-day positivity rate fell to 9.2 percent.

The number of hospitalized COVID patients across the 12-county district of southwest Indiana rose 15 to 151.

Statewide, 36 new COVID-related deaths were added with less than 1,500 new infections on the Wednesday dashboard.

Indiana’s seven-day positivity rate was 7.7 percent.

The Green River District Health Department announced one new COVID-related fatality in Daviess County and another in McLean County.

The number of COVID patients in the hospital held at 29 in the seven-county district.
