Seven more COVID-19 related deaths are reported in southwest Indiana and western Kentucky.
The Indiana Department of Health added three more COVID fatalities in Vanderburgh County, raising the county’s pandemic death toll to 260.
The agency also added 92 new infections, leaving the county just shy of 20,000 cases since March.
One new COVID-related death was tallied in Warrick County and another in Spencer County on the Friday dashboard.
Hospitalizations across the 12-county district of southwest Indiana fell by two to 165.
Statewide, Indiana saw 46 new COVID-related deaths and more than 2,600 new infections.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department announced one new COVID-related death in Daviess County and another in Union County.
The department also tallied 183 new infections and 29 COVID patients in the hospital.
