The University of Southern Indiana is inviting the public to a webinar on human trafficking awareness.
As part of National Slavery and Human Trafficking Month, the USI Sexual Assault and Gender Violence Prevention Group is hosting the webinar January 28th.
According to a release, the program will be a virtual presentation on human trafficking awareness, including such aspects as defining human trafficking, identifying vulnerable youth populations and overcoming stigma.
The webinar will be hosted by Eric Harris, a social worker who is a consultant for the Indiana Trafficking Victims Assistance Program.
The live webinar is being held at 6pm central time on the 28th.
