COVID Testing Extended Again at CK Newsome

File

COVID-19 testing will continue at Evansville’s CK Newsome Center.

The Reopen Evansville Task Force announced Thursday that testing at the community center at Walnut and Heidelbach will be extended through March.

The testing  — which is administered by OptumServe —  is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., but registration is required.

In a release, the city of Evansville said you can register at lhi.care/covidtesting or by calling 888-634-1116.

Testing is free and medical insurance is not necessary, but residents with insurance are asked to provide that information during the scheduling process.
