A state senator from Evansville is quarantining at home.
Sen. Vaneta Becker had close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 while she was away from the Statehouse.
In a release, Press Secretary Ryan Kommes said Becker has not had contact with any members of the General Assembly or General Assembly staff since the exposure.
Kommes said the longtime Republican legislator will be quarantining at home per CDC guidelines and will be tested for COVID-19.
Becker is 71-years-old.
