A new hotel in Downtown Evansville is expected to open soon.
Construction of the Hyatt Place Hotel on S.E. Second St. is nearing completion.
And Hyatt is now accepting reservations for stays beginning March 1st, and beyond.
The $18 million project will feature a bar, parking, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and an outside fire pit.
On its website, Hyatt says face coverings will be required in indoor public areas and some outdoors spots.
Hyatt says the safety and wellbeing of its guests and colleagues is a top priority.
