One of Evansville’s largest employers is reporting record earnings.
In a release, Berry Global reported net sales of $3 billion in the fourth quarter with operating income of $349 million.
For the entire fiscal year, the Evansville-based plastics maker reported net sales of $11.7 billion with an operating income of $1.2 billion – up 21 percent from 2019.
Berry says it exceeded guidance for both cash flow from operations and free cash flow, recording $1.5 billion and $947 million, respectively.
Chairman and CEO Tom Salmon called fiscal 2020 a “terrific year for Berry.” He said the company enters fiscal 2021 with confidence to grow organically.
