A lane closure and a stoplight are coming to a western Kentucky highway.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the westbound lane of U.S. 60 will be closed at the Spottsville Bridge this week.
In a tweet, the cabinet said crews will erect a temporary stoplight to allow drivers to take turns crossing the bridge over the Green River.
Construction crews are installing a barrier wall and shoring for the bridge on the west side of the river.
Drivers are urged to allow extra time or take another route, if possible.
