Two more COVID-related deaths and another 100 infections are reported in Vanderburgh County.
The Indiana State Department of Health raised Vanderburgh’s COVID death toll to 78 on its Monday Dashboard.
The number of positive cases since March is approaching 6,800.
Vanderburgh’s seven-day positivity rate slipped to 5.4 percent.
No new COVID-related deaths were recorded in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.
Statewide, Indiana saw 26 more fatalities and more than 3,000 new infections in the Monday report.
The state’s seven-day positivity rate was 8.2 percent.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department recorded 100 new infections in the seven-county district, but no new deaths.
Eleven fatalities were reported in the district last week.
