Two more COVID-related deaths are reported in Vanderburgh County, along with another in Henderson County.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported Vanderburgh’s 63rd and 64th fatalities on its Tuesday dashboard.
The agency also counted 57 new infections, pushing the county’s total since March above 6,200.
The number of hospitalized COVID patients in southwest Indiana rose to 157.
The percentage of intensive care beds available in the 12-county district fell to 18.5 percent.
Across the state, 51 new deaths were recorded along with more than 2,000 new infections.
Meantime, the Green River District Health Department reported Henderson County’s 32nd COVID-related death. Another fatality was reported in Ohio County.
55 new infections were added and 29 COVID patients were hospitalized in the seven-county district.
