A COVID infection has closed an Evansville library. WNIN’s John Gibson has details…
The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library says Stringtown Library is closed with no services beginning Monday, and for the next two weeks.
In a release, the EVPL says an employee of Stringtown tested positive for COVID-19, after last working at the branch on Thursday.
Under CDC guidelines and with an abundance of caution the EVPL says Stringtown will receive a deep cleaning and will reopen Monday, November 9th.
The library system says users with items on hold at Stringtown will be contacted about moving them to another location.
Materials needing to be returned to Stringtown should be returned to another EVPL location.
