Students of one Evansville high school returned to classrooms Tuesday after a week of virtual learning, while others switched to online education.

Memorial High School went virtual last week after six COVID-19 cases were discovered.

Over the weekend, the Catholic Diocese of Evansville told parents the school would reopen and continue to follow guidelines, which include requiring face coverings and frequently sanitizing desks.

Meantime, the Metropolitan School District of North Posey County went virtual on Monday over COVID concerns.

Princeton Community High School is another that has switched to online classes until the end of the week.

Officials closed Cannelton City schools today (Tues), after a student at Cannelton High tested positive for COVID-19.
