Vanderburgh County has seen another big jump in the number of new coronavirus infections.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported 56 new cases in the county on its Friday dashboard.
The increase followed 62 new cases reported on Thursday.
The number of confirmed infections in Vanderburgh County since mid-March pushed past 2,900.
No new COVID-related deaths were recorded in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.
Statewide, the department announced ten new deaths and more than 1,100 new cases.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department reported 40 new infections – including 15 in Daviess County and 13 in Henderson County.
The death toll in the seven-county region held at 30, with 13 residents hospitalized.
