A library on Evansville’s West Side is closed for COVID-19 testing.
On its Facebook page, the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library says the Red Bank Branch will be closed through at least Sunday, September 20th.
The EVPL says employees identified as having close contact with a person with lab-confirmed COVID-19 have been asked to self-isolate, work from home, and get daily health checks.
Library officials said Red Bank was sanitized Tuesday and will undergo more cleaning before the location reopens.
The EVPL said it’s committed to following safety and health guidelines to ensure its facilities are safe for library users and staff.
