35 New COVID Cases Recorded in Vanderburgh; State Tops 90,000

35 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Vanderburgh County. 

The Indiana State Department of Health said the number of positive cases in the county rose 35 to 2,452 on Thursday.

No new COVID-related fatalities were reported in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.

Statewide, more than 1,100 new infections were tallied, pushing the total since mid-March to more than 90,000.

Six new deaths were recorded across Indiana. The statewide death toll was up to 3,047 with another 219 considered “probable” COVID deaths.

In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department announced 37 new cases, 12 of them in Daviess County and eleven in Ohio County.
