The Henderson County school district will start the school year with what it calls “non-traditional instruction.”
The decision by the Henderson schools followed Governor Beshear’s recommendation that in-person instruction be delayed until Sept. 28th due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Henderson County Schools are scheduled to open August 26th -- so the district says it will start the school year with non-traditional instruction.
The district said it will keep families informed and up to date through its website, social media, and ParentLink.
On its website, the district said families will receive a Parentlink message this week from school principals.
The district thanked parents, families, the community, school board members, and staff for their support and understanding during “this challenging time.”
