Vanderburgh COVID Death Toll Up to 13

COVID 19 has claimed more lives in Vanderburgh and Ohio counties.

The Indiana State Department of Health announced the 13th coronavirus-related death in Vanderburgh County in its Wednesday report.

The state agency also reported the number of confirmed cases in the county has reached 1800.

The county’s seven-day positivity rate was 10.2 percent.

No new fatalities were reported in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.

Statewide, the agency reported 12 new deaths, 740 new cases, and a seven-day positivity rate of 7.4 percent.

The Green River District Health Department reported an 8^th COVID-related fatality in Ohio County, and 12 new cases in its seven-county region.
