The $42 million Post House development is one of nineteen projects that received funding from the Indiana Regional Cities Initiative. A release from the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana noted that the mixed use complex is a partnership between Vectren and Scannell Properties.
What is being marketed as 144 luxury apartments in the complex integrate various smart appliances and home automation with the internet. Retail space is also included in the complex. In making the announcement, Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke said that over half of the available space at the Post House has already been leased.
