Vanderburgh COVID Death Toll Reaches 10

Two new coronavirus-related deaths are reported in Vanderburgh County. 

The Indiana State Department of Health announced the fatalities in its Friday report, which pushed the county’s death toll to 10.

The agency reported 42 new infections in Vanderburgh County, with the seven-day positivity rate topping 8 percent.

No new COVID-related deaths were reported in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.

The state agency reported 19 new coronavirus-related deaths across Indiana, more than 900 new cases, and a seven-day positivity rate of 7 percent.

The Green River District Health Department reported 18 new infections in its seven-county region but no new deaths.

Eight of the new cases were in Daviess County.
