Dubois County Records 7th COVID Death

Another COVID-19 death is reported in Dubois County. 

The county’s health department confirmed the new death on Tuesday.

It’s the 7th COVID-related death reported among Dubois County residents. 

In a release, the county’s health officer, Dr. Ted Waflart, said he and his staff “extend prayers and deepest condolences” to the person’s family and friends.

The victim’s name was not released.

Dubois County officials also reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 in their Tuesday report.

It raised the total of residents who are – or have been – infected with the virus to 344.

The county said 257 of those are considered “recovered.”
