KY Restrictions Lifting This Week

KY.GOV

Several changes are in effect Monday in Kentucky as the state continues to roll back pandemic-forced restrictions.

The June 29th changes to the Kentucky Healthy at Work plan include opening bars, restaurants, event spaces and public swimming pools all at fifty percent capacity.

Groups of up to fifty people are allowed in Kentucky. Event spaces must promote social distancing between performers and put up transmission barriers where possible.

One of the big changes is in youth sports. Low touch sports such as baseball, golf or track can begin holding competitions in Kentucky with crowd sizes limited to fifty spectators.

High touch sports such as soccer, football and basketball may not hold competitions yet, but can continue practice sessions.
