Officials are reporting new COVID 19-related deaths in both Vanderburgh and Dubois counties.
Vanderburgh County and the state of Indiana announced the county’s sixth coronavirus-related fatality.
The highest number of local positive cases remained in the 47714 zip code.
The Dubois County Health Department confirmed two new positive cases and one new death in its Friday report.
The fatality is the 6th coronavirus related death in Dubois County, which has seen 248 positive cases.
In a release, the health department said people who may have an exposure risk to the positive cases are being notified.
Statewide, the COVID-19 death toll rose by 23 to 2,327.
No new deaths were reported in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties -- or in the Green River District of western Kentucky.
